Medicare

MyMedicare is a free, voluntary registration that links you to St Mary Medical Centre and your usual GP, unlocking better continuity of care, longer telehealth items and stronger bulk billing incentives.

MyMedicare is a new voluntary patient registration model. It aims to strengthen the relationship between patients, their general practice, general practitioner (GP) and primary care teams.

Why register?

If St Mary Medical Centre is your regular practice, it is important for you to register. MyMedicare patients will have access to:

Continuity of care

Greater continuity of care with your registered practice, improving your health outcomes.

Chronic disease management

Chronic Disease Management items are linked to your MyMedicare registration to support people living with chronic and complex conditions.

Longer phone consults

Longer MBS-funded telephone calls (Levels C and D) with your usual general practice.

Triple bulk billing incentive

Triple bulk billing incentive for longer MBS telehealth consultations (Levels C, D and E) for children under 16, pensioners and concession card holders.
