Dr Tunde Kuteyi is a highly experienced General Practitioner with a diverse medical background spanning general practice, rural and remote medicine, medical education, and community healthcare.
Dr Kuteyi completed his initial medical education and specialist training in Nigeria before relocating to Australia, where he has developed extensive experience caring for patients across a wide range of clinical settings. He has a strong passion for holistic, patient-centred care and values building long-term relationships with individuals and families to support their health journey.
Between 1998 and 2004, Dr Kuteyi worked closely with Aboriginal communities in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, gaining valuable experience in rural and remote medicine and providing healthcare to communities with unique and complex needs. This work has contributed to his broad clinical knowledge and culturally sensitive approach to patient care.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr Kuteyi has extensive experience in undergraduate medical teaching and GP registrar training, reflecting his commitment to mentoring the next generation of doctors and maintaining high standards of medical care.
Dr Kuteyi has particular interests in adolescent health, men’s health, family health and dynamics, and preventative medicine. He understands the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns.
