Illness and injury rarely arrive on schedule. During opening hours, St Mary Medical Centre provides urgent care for acute medical problems and minor injuries, with same day appointments kept for patients who need to be seen quickly.
Urgent care when you need it
Our doctors and nurses are equipped to assess and treat a wide range of urgent presentations in our treatment room. If your condition needs hospital care, we will stabilise you, arrange the appropriate transfer and make sure the hospital team has the information they need. If you are unsure whether to come to us or go to hospital, call our reception team and we will help you decide.
What we can help with
We treat sudden illness, cuts and wounds that need closing, sprains and minor injuries, burns, bites and stings, asthma flare ups, infections, and injuries that happen at work. Our treatment room is set up for urgent assessment, wound care and minor procedures.
